have enjoyed board games their entire lives, but they became avid fans in 2016.  After being introduced to the first deeply cooperative board game, Pandemic, they discovered just how many varieties of modern games were out there beyond the realm of  Monopoly and other traditional board games that they had grown up with. They quickly began acquiring new games to play, finding a newly-discovered favorite pastime that brings family and friends of all ages around the table in friendly competition and sometimes, cooperation.

Heather and Dusty have visited board game stores all over the country, making sure to stop by local shops any time they travel out of town. They have also attended numerous board game conventions and made some wonderful new friends in this hobby. In their eyes, board games are a great investment: they don’t expire, they foster great communication, they don’t require anything special to utilize, and they bring family and friends of all ages together for a good time.

Since starting their collection in 2016, Dusty and Heather have amassed one of the largest board game collections in the world.  As of late 2024, they have recorded over 1,800 unique items in their collection.  (It’s worth noting that the Guinness World Record for largest board game collection is 1,531 items!)
